Today’s five words are from another new story in Mom’s computer.
16. Love – Mom is the human I love the best in the world. I am the doggie she loves the best in the world. Sometimes she calls me the name Stubborn. I’m pretty sure that’s a good thing.
23. Dozed – I doze a lot around the house. During the day, I try out different chairs,
the sofa,
the rugs, and the floor. Mom does not doze – literally or figuratively. She works on stuff, plays with stuff, cooks stuff, makes stories, talks to her friends, and watches TV. Sometimes she tells me, “You snooze, you lose.” That usually means she ate a snack without me! #rude
Is that pound cake??
81. Snuggle – I like to snuggle. I squeeze in next to Mom when I am cold or sleepy or lonely. Mom doesn’t mind at all.
Sometimes she says, “Do you know what personal space is?” That means she likes it.
9. Peeped – Mom peeps at some of her old stories once in a while. She loves some of them and hates others. Sometimes she says, “Meh.” Those are the worst ones.
12. Book – Since quarantine Mom hasn’t been to the bookstore or the library to read dozens and dozens of picture books like she usually does.
She reads and listens to regular grown-up books on her Kindle and Audible, but not a lot of picture books at all. She just stays right here with me. *sigh* Sometimes she says, “2020. UGH!!”

There is definitely a book called “2020 – UGH” somewhere. I’m sure Mom reads it a lot!

Oh Cupcake you adorable sweet little girl……I think you and your Mom make a wonderful pair. You cuddle, talk, walk, play games – you are pals forever. I think “stubborn” might mean “determined” too…..and you and I are determined to keep our Moms on their toes and healthy right? right!

Cupcake, I see such love every time you dictate a blog to your mom for us. You are always brimming with ideas and action. So is your Mom. MY mom hasn’t been out of the house into stores a whole lot either. The grocery and salon are about it. She even does her exercise in the house now. Those Tube exercise videos do the job. You look adorable with your mask on and so loved on your mom’s lap. Ad of course you don’t care about personal space. What the heck is that? Mom IS MY personal space, and your mom is for you as well. xo Katie Isabella
Good point, KI. Our Mom’s ARE our own personal space. I mean, I am not allowed to sleep on Mom’s head like you are at your house. But I do sleep crushingly close to her tummy. The head would probably be a deal-breaker.

The two orange pups like to snuggle, too. Sometimes we call Chili a bed hog, which is a huge compliment. Happy Thanksgiving – I hope you don’t doze through the holiday & miss any turkey treats.
I can’t think of anything better than snuggling with a doggie – except snuggling with two doggies, P. What luck for all of you! Don’t worry. Any time there’s cooking of any sort around here – it’s like a doggie alarm clock. I slide into the kitchen and start staring.

Those were the best five words to date! I especially ‘love’ ‘snuggle’. She didn’t ‘doze’ writing this post. I’m sorry she hasn’t been to the library or bookstore. That’s pretty ‘meh’, but 2020 has been good for you. Lots of time for you to be ‘peeped’ at and snuggled with. 😉♥️🧑🏻🐶

Stubborn is a good thing for sure, Cupcake and it makes that we are so much alike…MOL..Pound cake, we had to check this one on google, Granny said that must be a pound of cake, but when she saw it, well…she looked just like you, not as cute as you though….We’re sure you have great quality time together, reading, hanging out together… and on chairs are great things to spend time with each other. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead to the both of you…Just one question, did you get a slice of the pound cake? 🐾😽💞
Well, Little B. “slice” of pound cake is overstated. I got a few crumbs, though. Mom worries that I will be a fat doggie with a tiny head, so she monitors my snacks a lot! We understand Granny’s pleasant shock at the yumminess of pound cake. It’s the best!

You snuggle? I won’t snuggle with anyone. Is it fun? Mom wants me to snuggle but I’m unsure. I like to be gently petted. No rough stuff.

Snuggles are crazy fun, S. I do them all night long and sometimes in the daytime, too. I am cold and shivery, sometimes. Snuggles help with that. Also sweaters and blankets.

Trying out the couch and all the chairs is a great idea, I mean how are you going to know which is dose worthy if you don’t try them out? And snuggles mmmm those are the best of the best. I think because of Ugh 2020 our folks need more snuggles than ever. Keep up the good work Cupcake! ~ Bessie Pup
For sure Mom has needed extra snuggling in 2020. So have I! For months and months, we couldn’t even go to the park! We just went around and around the buildings at my house. We think there can never be too much cuddling.

Love is a good word. I tend to “doze” after dinner which is not a good thing but it feels so good. Love the picture of you and your Mom snuggling, Cupcake, Snuggling is a good, too! SSNS and I had a lot of UGH in 2020, but there were some truly wonderful things that happened to us in 2020. Yes, wear a mask… it’s such a simple thing to do!
100%, Pix. Mom and I are not writing off 2020 either. Good things happen every day in the midst of all this. We make sure not to miss any of the blessings, and appreciate each and every one.

The rest of us huMom’s know exactly how she feels. We’ve lost track of the days and just call every day, “Blursday.” It’s a good idea to snuggle these days…you seem to have that skill down pat.
