I run for my life pretty much every day. Well, not exactly for my life… But I run for my toys, and I run if Mom doesn’t hand over my cookie fast enough or if she tries to brush me. #donotbrushme
Mom hasn’t made much progress in her writing lately. And by not much, I mean none. Let’s just say if she were the gazelle, instead of COOKING breakfast she would BE breakfast.
It’s officially September, officially the day after Labor Day, so officially, it’s time to buckle down and get busy with writing work. I have done all I can to be inspiring.

Showed off my skills…
Stayed quiet…
Tagged along on thinking walks…
Nothing. So, fresh school year (with no school to go to),
fresh week (with four days left),
and hopefully a fresh attitude (with the lion and gazelle in mind).

Mom constantly buys new brushes trying to find just the one. I run from all of them. Sometimes she ties me to the railing on the balcony and brushes the heck out of me. Oh well. It’s better than a bath.

Cupcake…a treat for ME to see you here today! Like that inspirational thought you brought us today; and my goodness, I can certainly see YOU have done YOUR part, and perhaps more, to prod your mom into her work! Don’t give up! The knowing looks will be the thing that gets her light turned back on and she will be ready to continue where she left off! You will take her to a place while both of you are enjoying a walkie THAT will be the place that inspires her. By the way, has she thought to write about yours and other therapy or visiting dogs adventures in the places they go, and what they hope they will accomplish with the patients? Maybe interaction between one or several patients AND the dress you wore to charm everyone?

Thanks, KI. Mom has a story or two (or a million) about me and a couple about becoming a therapy pet and working as a therapy pet. She wrote them, revised them, shared them with her writing group, revised them some more, submitted them a few places, and they got nowhere. So yeah. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Maybe the next one will be The One.

Well, if mom’s not inspired by your dress up days, then what’s a doggo to do? A bit of advice, if I may, get a bigger doggo bowl. Bigger bowl means more dinner 😉 I laughed when you ran from the brush and tried to hide under the pillows but they bounced right off the sofa, bwahaha. Crazy pillows !! Good luck finding a better hiding spot next time 💛 K
A bigger bowl is a brilliant idea! Why didn’t I think of that. Maybe Mom can look on amazon and pick one out for me. I throw the pillows off the sofa 87 times a day for many different reasons. It keeps Mom busy (and mumbling) so she doesn’t get bored. #idowhatican
