Finishing things is good. Mom FINALLY finished one of her half-stories last week. Soon, her writing group named LindaJenVijiLauriandOtherJen will read it and say things about it. Then suddenly, the story will not be finished anymore, and Mom will work on it again. And again. And again.
When I am finished with things, I. Am. Finished.
I am finished going to the vet for a tummy ache. Now I eat my special, yummy, chicken stew foods, and I will never go back there again. #shotshurt
After a few minutes, I am finished trying to get treats out of my treat ball. Mom helps me with the last one or two. Again. And again.
I am finished with early wake-ups. I need my beauty sleep.
I love the sun. But when I’m finished, I’m finished.
On a warm, sunny day, I finish my walks with a street nap
or a street squiggle.
Mom tries and tries to get things going again, but when I am finished, I. Am. Finished.
So hopefully, Mom will start and finish and restart and refinish lots more stories till eventually the right one gets to the right place at the right time. Then she’ll be finished. Till she starts a new one again.
And again.
And again.

Awww Cupcake we’re sorry your tummy was feeling bad but if you like your new food then all is well! I agree with you about being FINISHED…..no matter how much Mom tries to talk me into something if I’m DONE then that’s that. I know when I’m finished even if she doesn’t! I am also PAWSITIVE that your Mom’s stories will be books because I think you probably have given her more ideas than even YOU know! Sending you a special Cupcake hug….

Seems like what you told us today about how you are finished stuffs when you are finished with them, would make a story idea for kids! They could be encouraged to finish things they started and were asked to do by their parents or teachers. And what the child thinks as they get through the day on why they aren’t finishing their chore/task.

Glad that you are on food that makes your tummy happy! I am also glad your Mom finished one of her half stories. The nuns used to always accuse me of not finishing things and told my Mom I would just hit a wall and quit. I showed them and finished my work. It’s sweet that your Mom helps you with your treat ball… sometimes we all need help to finish things.

Sonny is a problem solver. I am a problem causer. Mom has convinced herself that when the ball is almost empty, the weight differential makes is impossible for me to get the last 2. Let’s just let her believe her theory. #iwonttellifyoudonttell

Those tummy issues are a real terror. My sister, Kali, had terrible ones until she was put on a special cat food too. She loved the cat food and it did clear up her upset tummy.
I see where one of your outfits is getting tight, C. Your mom must have shrunk it in the washer. Mom’s can have their minds elsewhere when they’re doing chores. I had a treat box with holes in it. I was really clever with it and got all the treats out every time. Don’t tell anyone but it was super easy. Apparently, I was putting on too much weight so that was the end of the treat boxx.
